It may not feel good to have a delay, but everything happens for a reason. It’s usually for our own good so that we do not get ourselves into trouble. No one likes to get in trouble (well at least I know I don’t). Just like in this picture, Paige cannot touch the pedals and she cannot see over the steering wheel. Besides sitting in the vehicle looking cute, that’s all about she should be doing because there would be a high likelihood that she would get into an accident. This also can be a metaphor that sometimes we just have to be patient because we cannot see ahead of us. We just have to be patient and continue to grow until we are able to “Touch the pedals and look over the steering wheel”. We have to remember that the need to continue to grow until the next step is often for our own good. Patience may not be easy, but completely worth it.
